If you are self employed and paid through the Construction Industry Scheme (CIS), you are most likely due a tax rebate.
The standard Construction Industry Scheme tax deduction is 20%. If you haven’t registered under CIS, the rate goes up to 30%! This can also happen if you don’t give your contractor your UTR.
To claim your CIS tax rebate you will have to complete a self assessment tax return. These can be filed once the tax year has ended (5th April) and must be filed by 31st January following the end of the tax year. The sooner you file your tax return after the tax year has ended the sooner you will receive your tax rebate (providing you have provided us with the correct information).
To claim your CIS tax refund contact us today on 0208 935 5459 or complete contact details here.
We charge a fixed fee and do not take a commission from your rebate amount.
